Followers+ Privacy Policy
Followers, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) considers the privacy of its customers to be of the utmost importance. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers who use the “Followers+” application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). We will comply with this privacy policy regarding the information we obtain from users of the “Followers+” application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).
1. Definitions
1.1 In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
1.2 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “User Information” means any information that we obtain from you, including personal information.
1.3 Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are as defined in the Followers+ Terms of Service.
1.4 In this Privacy Policy, “Advertising ID” refers to a unique ID assigned to the user by the ad-serving company. This ID is not tied to the user’s personal information.
1.5 In this Privacy Policy, “user ID” means a unique ID assigned to each installed Followers+ or an ID assigned by the platform to each app provider. These IDs are not associated with the user’s personal information.
1.6 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “UUID” means an ID that is used to anonymously distinguish Followers+ users. 2.
2. Information to be obtained and purpose of use
2.1 User information that we may obtain from users of the Service, when and how we obtain it, and the purposes for which we use it are as follows

3. Provision to third parties
3.1 We provide User Information to our group companies (our parent company, subsidiaries, and subsidiaries of our parent company. We may share your User Information with our group companies (including our parent company, subsidiaries, and subsidiaries of our parent company, including group companies located in Japan and abroad). 4. Disclosure and correction, etc.
4.1 The User may request the Company to disclose his/her personal information held by the Company in accordance with the procedures separately designated by the Company. However, this shall not apply in the following cases
(1) When it cannot be confirmed that the request is being made by the user
(2) When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the user or a third party
(3) When there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of our company’s business
(4) When it would violate other laws and regulations.
4.2 If the content of the User’s personal information held by the Company is not true, the User may request the Company to correct, add, or delete the content of the relevant personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) according to the procedures separately designated by the Company. (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”). In this case, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of the relevant personal information, and based on the results of such investigation, the Company shall correct the content of the relevant personal information.
4.3 In the disclosure procedure described in Paragraph 1, the Company may request the User to submit a copy of the User’s identification documents to the extent necessary to confirm that the request is made by the User.
5. Information on SNS accounts necessary for account maintenance, etc.
If a User does not agree to provide information regarding his/her SNS account or other information required for the use of the Service, the User will not be able to use the Service.
6. Deletion of account
In the event that a User deletes his/her account for the Service, the Company will properly handle the User information of the User in accordance with the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.
7. Revision
The Company may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. However, in the event that a revision is made that requires the consent of the user under the law, the revised Privacy Policy will only apply to users who have agreed to the revision in a manner prescribed by the Company. In the event of a revision, the Company will notify users of the revision by posting a notice on the Company’s website or by other means that are easily understood by users.
